Can dogs hike in Watkins Glen State Park?
Partial Partly. Some trails and areas, not all.
The famous Gorge Trail bans dogs, but the rim trails above it do not.

South Rim Trail, Indian Trail, and the campground.
What we do instead
a state park, a few miles north, where she can walk the gorge itself.
NY. On our route: around Oct 7 to 10. Rules change: check the park's own pet page before you go. Rhea is never boarded or kenneled; where she can't go, we find somewhere she can.
