What we do instead
We drive it: the South Unit Scenic Loop, Painted Canyon Overlook, and the North Unit road to Oxbow Overlook.
Watch out for
Free-roaming bison walk through the campground. She stays in the truck at wildlife pullouts and on a short leash in camp.
